A mobile crane will be installed in the laneway next week.
It's made by Seele - a German firm. We have been all over the glass here for awhile now.

Not Seele actually, but sedak. Click for our front page story on the glass.Oh ok sorry, I knew i should have hopped into this thread the second I saw it going up!
Oops, my mistake!
Weatherstripping to seal the joints. They will be covered up by trim. What are those blue strips currently on the windows for?
They typically spread the load of the mobile crane on the concrete slab. Since they have to get that crane in closer to the elevator core to install the glass, they may also use it to bridge the slab opening for the crane outrigger (extendable support). They look like 6 x 6's posts bolted together is sets of 2's. I'm not sure what they're for though.
It doesn't look like much from here. Then I suspect if wasn't for all the rebar fill, I could swim in it. Not that would be advisable to do so...First Big Pour completeView attachment 337007

How does that work since you end up with a cold joint midway through the slabI'm guessing that the full weight of the transfer slab was a bit too much for the existing two floors below to support and that the first pour here once cured will support the second pour.
