They may just be moving dirt around to make another ramp. Haven't they already removed and remade the ramp a few times now?interesting how they are excavating without a ramp. Wonder what will happen for the lowest levels when a standard excavator cannot reach down any more?
Considering the excavator has been in the same position for several days, I suspect it’s just being stored on the wood. Likely so it doesn’t damage the concrete underneath it.The excavator on the wooden skids and concrete 'railing' seems a little sketchy. I guess excavators are operated in precarious positions all the time
I really doubt that. This is where the pile of dirt is at the bottom of the pit and excavator has been here the entire time loading trucks. I think it's up on the pile of skids so the operator can see what the heck he is doing.Considering the excavator has been in the same position for several days, I suspect it’s just being stored on the wood. yeah, I already deleted my post. I looked at the picture more carefully and realized that it wasn't a rock, just dirt. It's easy to get rid of - you simply break it up with a backhoe.
Why? Because it's not a boulder, just a pile of dirt.
