id like to see the second floor go up before I can rest easy. does anyone think the city will stop progress again after the tenth floor?

Woah, this is a really neat design. The building appears to be suspended over the retail store (I assume its a retail store). Very unique design.

I would think judging by the pictures, also I am no structural engineer, I would imagine that they may install the 8 outer super columns next then work on tying the first floor together to form the second. I have done a few mock models of buildings, (one using Super Columns, one using a central core.) Both of those being a project for my nieces drafting class. (One of the first projects one ever brought to me I enjoyed doing LOL) Sure not as complex as The One. The mock models were cardboard and popsicle sticks. She is considering Architecture as her career.

The second super column being installed now. I’ll get out later hopefully when more of them are done to get ground level photos, but cannot right now.
