It's amazing to me that they can so radically rework this building.
And visible bracing/support seems to be the latest architectural trend in Toronto.
Some photos of the removal of the old cladding from inside 480 University. It's a really interesting process, looks like a custom-built hydraulic clamp that clasps onto the removed section of cladding.
Was this yellow-claw-concrete-picker-thingy custom made for removing this particular concrete skin?
