I assume they need the bracing in place all the way to the top before that starts.

Lunchtime today. Old cladding almost gone from the east elevation.

Once glass starts going up on the north and west sides I'll start adding pics from that perspective (it's moving a lot slower than the south and east sides). I live in the condo directly to the NW, so will get a pretty good view of the upward build.

When will they start building up?

They can't start building up until the existing structure is reniforce that currently underway. You are looking about September before that is done.

I am expecting either trusses or griders will be place over the existing roof to support the addition floors for the tower that will be set back from the current edge

I haven't been in the building, so I am guessing here. The existing columns for the elevator shaft are being beef up or added to them to support the new floors. Its also possible that interior columns are also been beef up as well.

Until all work in reinforcing the existing stucture is done, you can't add the new floors

From yesterday.

There was work going on in this unit. Looks to be a unit fully integrated into the new cladding.
