Yes, July 14th. My old coworker is one of the owners. I remember being there when they started in their backyard during Covid. Within about 3 weeks of starting all the blogs had started to talk about them. Very excited to have this within walking distance of my office.july 14 opening day apperently
...someone thinks there's a market for them.Maybe I'll check this out for lunch. Chicken, potatoes and peas doesn't really do it for me, but those sandwiches look tasty.
Did you tell them or ask them for another portions? With new establishments they're still trying to figure out. So maybe the staff didn't know cause they missed or forgot something from the manual. The extra gravy is easily fixed with training, dry pork maybe with the new cook thereI got a roast pork sandwich at the Carvery the other day, and it was really bad. Totally dried out pork and not nearly enough gravy/aioli to make up for it. It had some decent flavour, but with that level of dryness, was hard to choke down. Maybe their roast beef is better.
The little samosa place is a damn bargain too. Get a bunch and just snack all day.I didn't go back. I chalked it up to "lessons learned". They should be tasting the food before sending it out like that. I might try it out again sometime, though there's a lot of other places at the Well that I still have to try first. The Korean place there is really good, BTW.
