Though I agree that, from the street, black balcony ceilings would probably look better, however, not sure it would look as good from inside the Unit - maybe too dark.

Yes good point. Since I will only ever see it from the street, I’m speaking selfishly from an aesthetic perspective. I can think of one that has red coloured balcony ceilings at Dundas and Jarvis, but not any painted black off the top of my head.

At least they’re painting it. Some developers don’t even bother and will probably market the project as ‘industrial chic’.
