The café is now doing a full menu so had brunch with friend. Amazing! And I think that this may be the only café east of John for all of the residents here and along Simcoe. Will be featuring Turkish wine from BC as well as other artisanal libations from the homeland. Taken 17 June.

Toronto Hydro not ruin every new pedestrian space challenge: IMPOSSIBLE.

Honestly, how does this constantly happen?
It's complete dysfunction. At minimum, there should a requirement to replace whatever finish was sitting there when the hole was dug, particularly on sidewalks, but in certain cases also on streets. If we simply addressed the finishing part, rather than trying to change the timing, we might have a compromise. (I'm being an eternal optimist.)

June 24 - The Adelaide Street sidewalk has been completed and opened. Lobby areas are now complete and open to the public, with first residents now having moved into the building.

If only this side walk material was used as the standard in Toronto. It alone would make the city 10 fold more attractive
