Wow this thing seems like its rising fairly fast paced.

Yeah, they are breaking noise rules working well past 7 pm several nights a week for the past 6 weeks now. There were still 6-7 people working until 10 pm on Friday.

The stone is up on one wall in the courtyard. It's looking good. This is kind of hard to explain without seeing it, but the shifting balconies are creating slightly inconsistent window and cladding sizes on the parts where the balconies end on the building (they are not uniform). I think it'll still make an interesting pattern going up.

Tentative occupancy date for 40-45th floors of West Bldg is listed as May 2014, and for 40-50th floors of East Bldg is June 2015.
Does it look realistic considering that for now West has about 15 floors and East has about 4-5 floors?
Thank you!

May 2014 is not realistic. I predict the building will JUST reach the 40th floor at that point. I bet the occupancy won't happen until Oct 2014 for the West building. June 2015 for East tower is realistic.

Looks like usually building grows approx. 1 floor per week, so they might get from 15 to 40th floor in about 6-7 months, which is by March-April 2014...
So what if they done building by March - there's not enough time to finish in 2-3 months anyways, right? You think it'll take about 5 months?
How does it usually work - from the day they finish doing walls/ceiling, how long it takes till the floor is completely ready?
Thank you!

Good bye, lake view. You'll be gone by this time next week:

I'm kind of surprised to see all of that stone up so soon. I wonder if they're closing in the ground floor stuff faster to help mitigate their impact on the church and university. If the townhouses were fully clad it would act as a buffer for a lot of the noise and dust at ground level.

The impending Bay St. street-wall is making me salivate.

I wish it was more of an extreme, tall street wall, as is largely the case further south and north on Bay, rather than stumpy townhouses with towers behind them. That is, I wish it was sheer, solid tall buildings going right up to the sidewalk all along the property rather than this hedged patchwork of heights.
