Another interesting fact about the UP Express: Metrolinx has ordered both "A" units and "C" units. "A" units are the DMUs we have seen so far, with the rounded ends, and that have been advertised by Metrolinx in most promotion with the 2 DMU UP transets. The "C" units, are the middle DMUs used in 3 DMU trainsets. They do not have rounded ends, as they fit in between "A" units. They are to be delivered this December for testing. Below is a picture of a "C" unit without its surrounding "A" units.

AG: Thanks for the picture and link of the "C" UPE Car...I actually like the front end design of these cars more then the "A" cars...
Without the diaphragm though...LI MIKE

The train should be in CN Toronto yard now and will be a few days before showing up in Willowbrook yard. The C car is not in this set.

Here are UPX 1001 and 1002 in Oakville, Ontario at the CN Oakville Yard. Apparently Metrolinx will test the DMUs on the Lakeshore West line. I know people have been complaining about the way they look, but in person I think they look great.

I too don't really mind how the DMUs look. The olive green colouring is fairly similar to the new GO livery, and the units themselves are pretty snappy.

Excited to see them testing soon too.

Incorrect. They haven't yet been delivered and inspected yet. That was supposed to happen today, but will now likely happen tomorrow.

Which part of my statement was incorrect? The DMUs are in Oakville, that is a fact. I saw and photographed them myself. When one says presumably that means that they are speculating.
