I don't think there's an out for you considering that they intend to complete the project, your outside occupancy date is until 2029 and you paid well above current market price. If you have a lawyer, you can consult with them to see if there's anyway around it.

I am new to this forum. I purchased a unit in Uptowns in 2022. I have received only two emails so far - One from Sierra Farr on October 10th, 2024 with an attachment stating Factum Receiver KSV Restructuring and the second one from Meg Ostling on October 11th, 2024 which had an attachment that said Notice to Vandyk Uptowns Unit purchaser.

Has anyone received any other emails besides the ones that I mentioned above? I thought I saw two more emails in my Inbox in the first week of October but they seem to have disappeared, cant' find them.

They probably dont exist anymore..as this project went into receivership cuz they have not gotten their money too.

My unit for the exact APS or give my deposit back. F (f for forget) VANDYK, uptown’s, KSV, Osler, everybody. As a 2017 buyer, I’m not entertaining anything, who knows if it even will be built ever.

Dont think thats feasible exact aps from 2017, i am same from 2017.., prices materials up at least, labour etc..but i see your point..even the deposits seems will be a long to get into our hands..
