There is loads more to see in that document, including "before" pictures for the renderings.
 
I really like the recreated crane portion as a nod to the site's former use. There's something similar in North Van, they have an old dry dock crane in the Shipyards District.
There's a similar, smaller, version at the east end of the site (or west end of the condo buildings - whose developer was responsible) on Mill.

As someone who will be looking at this, my main thing here is the suggestion different materials be used on the different buildings. Solid recommendation.

It would also be nice if they could figure out how to put more car entrances on Eastern if possible, so more space on the site itself can be open. That’s also a solid suggestion for the panel.
 
are these not the same renders and massing suggestions that the government put out more than two years ago in response to the press for some kind of density plan? with the exception of the landscape plan for the SW plaza as that seems to be the only thing that changed. Referring to the posts on page 37 of this thread. It suggests that they havent done much of anything in the last two years
