The Coroner's building still rocks my world.

And looking even better than before - they replaced the glazing a short while ago and tore down that concrete gazebo thingy in front just the last few weeks. Next up - the parking garage will be redeveloped for affordable housing.

From ground level in those shots, it's not easy to see the difference owing to the amount of reflection I suppose… it does make me wonder if the effect will be lost from most angles.

Up close you can't see the difference in the reflection, but the painting on the underside of the slab should help accentuate the difference. The black balcony glass on the lower levels does a lot to hide the spandrel, too. It still doesn't look like much, but so far the balconies are helping this one a lot.
 
I can ALMOST understand the justification for grey on the areas without balconies if it were rationalized as a neutral tone between white and black. But all those mullions... yikes
