I doubt a Starbucks. There is one across from aura. One right at the corner beside the yc site and another at Wellesley. But I get what you are saying. Some sort of well known chain retail/ restaurant.

Totally could be a Starbucks. There are 2 Tim Horton's in the right at College Park, one on the corner at Yonge & College and one in the basement by the Food Court, and they are busy all the time.

It's fun to see all the subterranean (coal?) services and windows being exposed: over time, the street level rose.

This morning. I assume hoarding is going up shortly. This is really moving fast!

This is one of those cases where the structure they tore down was so bad, that blank empty space is actually preferable to what was there before. Since this is going to be another Canderel/G+C project, however, I only hope that it won't also be preferable to what will be there in the future.

I can't believe how much nicer that stretch of Yonge feels with that big open space. And I'm not even really ragging on the former building, nor do I think the backsides of the buildings in the laneway are much to look at, either. It's just amazing how much of a difference taking out that one 2s building has made.

What a disaster. The rendering look horrendous, and knowing Canderel is involved; this is going to be bad. Sigh.

It's crazy that Canderel buildings are shaping Yonge and College... I actually don't mind the Residences of College park. I'm surprised at how much the units in there go for!

The podium for this building looks like quite the disaster, which is unfortunate since it almost dominates a block.
