Atlantans are really easy to impress.
They like this condo, we have a much better subway system than theirs, and Toronto is much more densely built than Atlanta.

Graziani and Great Gulf did a real number on the podium of this thing. It’s one of the worst podium designs I’ve seen in a good long while. Super disappointing.

Yes, the podium is not to the standard of the upper parts and not even like the original renderings. Too bad.

That podium really drags this building WAAAY down. Too bad.

I wish they had continued the white zig-zags across both towers. I know some may think it would be overbearing, but it would have been very unique - practically a tourist attraction in its own right.

The podium looks worse, ie, darker and more oppressive, in pix than in life. It's actually not bad at all in person.

So I guess it's safe to say they're not painting those podium slabs red as picted in the renders at this point...
