So many street names are from small town Ontario. But judging from the newer signs with international cities, eventually we started looking beyond Ontario to other parts of Canada and around the world.
There's still a lot more we can do with street names. We should rename some major streets with generic names from early landowners to more significant figures in Toronto and Canadian history to reflect our emerging identity as the national metropolis.

It went quickly, but it was fun as I got to go in studio and check out the inner workings of a CBC radio broadcast - at least for 10 minutes or so...
