I don't get what the big deal is. Strip clubs are a business and deserve at least some understanding from City Hall. It is annoying how Councilors are expected to pick and choose which business are "acceptable" in order to please the Helen Lovejoys of this planet. Every half-wit politician spends half of his campaign touring dead end manufacturing plants and kissing babies, strip clubs should be no different.

I agree. Given that strip clubs, or gentlemens clubs or whatever you want to call them, are legal businesses in the City, this is not newsworthy. Although in the Star poll on the topic 74% of respondents said it was not acceptable.

In what capacity did they attend? They are all members of the West Toronto Crime Task Force. Palacio and Mammoliti are the co-chairs while the other members are Frank DiGiorgio, Mark Grimes, Frances Nunziata and Bill Saundercook.
