I'm not really sure I see the point of Next Train. I'm standing there at Main, and the Next Train says it's coming in 1-minute ... and it just blows right through heading to the yards ... and the counter resets to 5-minutes. This seems to happen every time.

Surely the whole point of such a system is to tell when the next usable train is coming!

No, I don't think I do ... most systems have no problem with this.

What do you mean ... it happens frequently; how else do they reduce the frequency after the rush-hour. Sometimes it seems every second train is out-of-service.

If you're thinking European or Asian systems, forget it. Its TTC ... no match

and yeah I ride the subway most days but I only see out of service trains 10% or less of the time
