Sorta makes me wish they'd keep quiet about these big projects until they were actually ready to start building. I know that's not how things work, but it's just hard to get one's hopes up only to be dashed.

^Yes I know what you’re saying, and even starting construction doesn’t guarantee a project will be completed. There were a lot of abandoned construction sites left when the ‘80s boom went bust.

A lot of interesting things get proposed, but never happen, that seems to be generally how it goes. Even more so when boom times come to an end.
