Not bad, but I always think it's a miss when projects of this density don't include commercial. If I'm living in a high density building like this, I want the benefits of a high density neighbourhood, which should be walkable amenities.

Chicken and the egg... density is needed.

There are a few spots that are walkable along Jasper and there right now and Little Italy or 82st/112Ave are both reasonable walks as well.
 
What’s interesting to me is the non-local (to even Alberta) developers taking such an interest in this specific area. Exciting project… here’s hoping.
 
I wonder if this project will actually be condos or go rental, considering the pressure on home sales of any kind right now with interest rates, price declines, etc.

Hard to say. Rising rates are going to have a dramatic impact on any new development rentals included. Hopefully they can make a go of it though. The area needs projects like this.
