I drove on 66/75 Street and it looks like all signals are working. If the weather warms this weekend, I wonder if the track work will resume.
Yeah. Really hoping this becomes a big TOD one day. Perfect spot.Anyone know why the Elmwood Townhouses are spaced so far apart? I'd imagine this whole parcel is ripe for redevelopment with the Misericordia Station.View attachment 370582
Hopefully that means that we get the Southeast line done before summer 2022.So the valley line west is going to enter total construction in mid 2022.
Also that bridge is amazing
Welcome to the forum! I'm looking forward to full construction starting; I hope that Marigold was "scared straight" by all of VLSE's delays and takes timeliness a bit more seriously. Perhaps this explains why they already started on drilling piles for the elevated guideways? Get through the "unknowns" involved with digging them now, and then when it gets warmer they'll be all ready to start pouring concrete. So the valley line west is going to enter total construction in mid 2022.

Does Marigold have the contract to build the replacement bridge or has the City completed a procurement process for its replacement ?With the West Valley Line, there won’t be any tunnels and any rivers to cross. The bridge across Groat Road will have to be replaced. Hopefully a staging area is in place for the WEM and Henday flyover construction.
