Demolishing the unique icon tower and replace it with two midrise boring looking clones, sad!

Personally I find the tower quite ugly. This project and replacement make me so happy, visually it's definitely an improvement.

I can't say I'll miss the Landmark much, but I wish they could have just knocked this thing down with explosives. This demolition technique they are using is moving at a snail's pace. Looking back at the update photos from May it hardly looks any different

They should have saved the 40 floor tower, just changed the look of the outside of the blding, altered the foundation to host another 20 floor building beside it, what a complete waste, dummies.

^^ Their excuse is the Landmark tower wasn't built with earthquake proof and therefore it isn't safe in the long term but what about those high rises built in the same period, are they going to tear them down too?
