VIA 6251 was markedly tagged while in Montreal, before it made it to the TMC. Here it is passing through Kingston westward:I saw it yesterday in the Mimico yard. Unfortunately it looked like someone tagged it.

Speed restrictions? Scheduled connections? Only an hour late is not really noteworthy for VIA trains, unfortunately.Anyone know why train #75 was over an hour late getting to London?
What a sad low bar to set... an hour late being normal. If this was japan whole departments would be getting disciplined as they should be.Speed restrictions? Scheduled connections? Only an hour late is not really noteworthy for VIA trains, unfortunately.
Right, but this isn't Japan, and so here we are. What a sad low bar to set... an hour late being normal. If this was japan whole departments would be getting disciplined as they should be.
Of course not.... its still sad to have such low standards for a "first world country" (usa included). Even India is better than us by a huge marginRight, but this isn't Japan, and so here we are.
If we rather look at freight rail (and the volumes transported), we are world class and Japan is the developping country…Of course not.... its still sad to have such low standards for a "first world country" (usa included). Even India is better than us by a huge margin
The last time I was in India not only did they still have steam locomotives - but some were less than 20 years old! Though it lucks like they finally retired them early in the 21st century.Even India is better than us by a huge margin

Heck, looks like they even had sliding doors on the carriages by the 2010s! Much higher capacity too!
