i suppose i am quite nostalgic by nature!

i do find myself fascinated with the idea of long departed people that briefly inhabited hotel rooms that are themselves no longer...

more generally, old photographs are profound evidence of 'that-has-been', in the way they inexorably signal the passage of time.
 
Thanks for the pics, I also enjoy historical photos amd imagining what it was like to be there at that time.

I am looking down at part of one of those building right now.
 
Just an FYI: the parking garage on the northeast corner of Victoria and Shuter has been demolished. A new building for the hospital is currently under construction.
