YRT has released their 2025 service initiatives. Pretty substantial service increase, with major frequency improvements, new on demand services, and new school specials.
Unfortunately YRT remains allergic to clock face scheduling and timing buses for GO trains.
well... 12c for adults 8c for children and nickel for seniors. could be worse....Fare changes coming July 1, 2024
In December 2023, York Regional Council approved the 2024 budget effective on July 1, 2024. This is the first fare increase since 2019 and will help to address the rising costs of running the transit system.www.yrt.ca

Service Changes and Updates
York Region Transit (YRT) often adjust and improve our services to better connect you to the places you want to go. Check back here regularly for upcoming route and schedule changes.www.yrt.ca
25 interlines with route 4 which is much more frequent. i guess theres simply not enough ridership west of woodbine to justify more....Great job by GTAmissions1 in sorting through all that.
Have to say, overall, I'm not impressed by YRT's moves, a few good expansions of span of service, but some major road, mid-day service is less than hourly............yikes!
