You'd think instead of forwarding it to Wikipedia they'd forward it to the new site.

Better logo, worse name. It seems the whole ***TO thing is getting a little overboard. That said, at least it's coherent...

Not a fan of the name. Tough one to pronounce, too. Wanterfron Toronto or Waterfront Oronto?

Do they have nothing better that they could be doing, anyway? Guess all that consultants' budget needs to be spent on something as the Corp doesn't seem to have the power to do physical.

Nice logo, clever name. Pronounced as one word, waterfrontoronto it slides right off the tongue. It's a pleasant surprise to have at least one branding exercise turn out alright.

Waterfronto, Tanto!

Maybe with a slightly shorter name things will move along more quickly.

^ I have no doubt that the incessent retyping of that unwieldy name was precisely the problem.

"We have to find a scheme that sells, boys,
It's the Waterfront-or-onto something else!"

How about 'Wateronto'?

Then again, that sounds a bit close to 'Esperanto' and 'Desperado'.

Then it fits. The city is so desparate to say they started the waterfront they will use the city's money to build a plain office building on a site which was expected to hold a landmark building and give a good deal to an existing Toronto employer to move there. Waterfrondesperado?

Instead of spending money on this non-descript building they could address reasons why the waterfront isn't getting developed by developers... such as poor transit, TEDCO holding all the property, incomplete zoning, missing utilities, and desirability in the form of new parks and a waterfront promenade. It is silly to spend money on an office building supposedly because nobody wants to develop the site when there has been zero visible effort to get the site developed. If the Waterfront East streetcar, Sherbourne Park, Queens Quay East street landscape, the foot of Jarvis public space was completed, zoning changes completed, and TEDCO offered the land up for sale, I have a hard time believing there would be no takers.
