Apparently the King Streetcar will suffer for it by having every 4th car to take the Cherry route. But really, there won't actually be any demand at all in 2010 for the new route, will there? It's probably a "It will be ready, but it'll just be there to look nice" until people start moving in en masse.

From what I know, TTC will not be running service on Cherry Street until late 2011 or early 2012. New LRT's are to be used on this route as well the Queen Quay as they arrived for service.

The lost of service with the 4th car will be Broadview, but there is plans to run either a Broadview-Cherry or Broadview-Cherry-Dundas run to replace it.

Once the new Cherry St underpass is built (2012-15), there will be all kinds of combination of service taking place.

How cool would it be to have High Rise Condos all across the Leslie St. Spit, serviced by a Leslie St. LRT? If you ask me, the Spit has so much potential for development, but let's do one part of the waterfront at a time.

Totally uncool. Lake Ontario Park is a much better plan.
