We have usually had a major snowfall or 3 by now, this is quite nice for November. The last year I remember like this had to be 2016, was mountain biking in Exshaw in shorts and a tshirt on Remembrance Day.

Also I know Calgary is sunny, but only had 1 mildly snowy day so far. And last year there was a cold spell end of October, nothing so far this year.

It's been a pretty nice Sept/Oct/Nov so far. I still have one flower basket that hasn't bit the dust yet, usually all of them would be gone by now or by at least mid October.

It's not unusual for Calgary to have weather like it is today at this time of year, but usually by now there would have been at least one good snow dump, and there's quite often at least one or two heavy frosts in Sept or Oct.

It's been a really gentle fall so far - looking at the data we haven't had a high that was below zero yet. Another way to look at it, the last time we had a daily high below zero was March 30th, 2024. A full 227 days ago. Based on the forecast right now, we might still make it all the way to December before that first high below zero occurs. Unreal!

Coldest temp so far this fall was -7.5C an overnight low a few weeks ago.

Where did you go? I rode Bowmont in the city but turned around half way due to the crowds lol.

I rode west bragg on saturday and moose mtn yesterday. Bowmont is always my go-to early season riding but ya, gotta go early morning or at night otherwise there's just too many people

Wanted to hit west bragg, but the car is in the shop and my friends went snowboarding instead. Hope to get another day in bragg, weather says maybe... lol
