Despite it being my first day at work, plus it being a 10 hour day in the heat, managed to get the babby out for a 2.5 hour water walk through the Elbow River and even got some construction pics in the process 😎 it really was a perfect day, was so glad to see everyone out enjoying themselves even after sunset...

Quite the reversal of our weather fortunes compared to the past week! Another round of supercells undergoing explosive intensification heading for the city now...

It’s crazy. I covered up the veggies this morning. COD numerical stuff did not make me confident, as it might have been off the mark. The mid level CAP soundings per high probability of severe I didn’t see.

Everything survived the snow and freezing temps a couple of weeks back. The Broccoli which can take cooler weather veggie seemed to even thrive in it, and will be ready to pick in a few days.

Tomatoes were stunned by the cold weather and didn't do anything for a while, but have started growing again with the hot weather last week.

Beets and carrots are starting to come up, but are taking their sweet time.

Fantastic work, looks like you really know what you're doing. That's the type of thing I do for work!

Thanks! I’m a teacher and have always landscaped in the summers and even worked with the city on a landscaping crew while in university. When we bought the house the yard was a mess. We bobcatted out the entire front and backyard and started from scratch.

Sooo happy to see the Central Memorial Fountains online this summer. They weren’t turned on last year, I imagine because of the virus. But yayyyy!
