I think the years indicate when traffic levels reached (or will reach) the threshold that justifies widening the highway to 6/8 lanes.

I’m not sure if this update was posted, but this covers the Yellowhead Trail construction between 97 Street and St. Albert Trail:

Construction on the St. Albert Trail to 97 Street project is currently underway.

66 Street will be starting some construction for utilities this year, but mostly next year. Looks like 66 ST NB to YHT EB will be the only traffic movement, otherwise, it is pretty much a full closure.

Most of it is done, they've been at it for a month or so. The 112st overpass is also well along with Rebar.
