Wow that's a great shot. You really managed to capture the mountains. It must have taken a heck of a zoom. I really wish they could loom like that all the time.

It was a beautiful weekend, good time to get out and walk around, and check out the action.

As requested here, I went and took some pictures from Patina Drive and Patina Hill (which is the road where Broadcast Hill is). Even though I only have a phone camera and lack the lenses to do the views total justice, I think they turned out pretty good. Maybe I can put in a request for SP someone else with a better camera to take some followups. There was one particularly amazing vantage that may not be around for too much longer. There was an empty lot with some stunning views that looks like it's set to be developed.

Here's some views of the general area around Patina Drive. It's actually a nice little green space. If it wasn't for Bow Trail rushing by you might not think you were in the midst of a city. This was one of the spots I imagined connecting up with "wildlife overpasses" in one of my crazy dream ideas.

This one was my absolute favourite!

Here's a few bonus shots. The Heart House and a new construction project in Paterson which is surprisingly sizable for the area. It's being built on land which was a farm within the city for the longest time.
