In 2016 we introduced you to SkyriseCalgary and SkyriseEdmonton, but we’re not done yet. Since we launched SkyriseCities last year, we’ve been covering projects from faraway places like Shenzhen and Melbourne while keeping our eyes on Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto. And now we’re thrilled to turn our attention to Vancouver.

During the last year, we’ve watched Telus Garden rise from a pit in the ground, we’ve seen Trump Tower from just about every angle, and we’ve taken in the city skyline from Grouse Mountain. Over in the Forum, you’ve shared your best skyline shots, kept an eye on the Evergreen Line, and followed the rise of some of Vancouver’s tallest towers.

That’s why we’re excited to introduce you to SkyriseVancouver, a new local site from SkyriseCities that will offer the fine-grained coverage we’ve been providing for years at UrbanToronto.ca.

At SkyriseVancouver, you’ll be a member of the same incredible community you’ve gotten to know here at SkyriseCities, and you can even log in with your existing SkyriseCities, SkyriseCalgary, SkyriseEdmonton, or UrbanToronto account. You can discuss local development projects and share your photos in the local Forum. You can follow buildings like Vancouver House in the Project Database to see new photos and be the first to know when it tops off. You can browse the map to identify projects or construction sites that you’ve seen around the city. And now you can read local Vancouver news every day on the front page.
