Wellington street east is directly north of Aurora GO.

Kitchener doesn't have any as there is only a single grade crossing in Malton for the portion of it that is going to be running RER service. Given the limited budget and large need for grade separations, they focused on RER portions of the network as they will be seeing the largest impacts from service increases.

The remaining level crossings on the Kitchener Line are not especially busy crossings either. Scarboro Street is the only one left between Union and Bramalea Stations, and beyond that, there are only two level crossings to Mount Pleasant, both are side streets in Downtown Brampton.

There are still many level crossings on the Lakeshore West and Stouffville corridors that aren't on that list - five in the Lakeview and Port Credit sections of Mississauga, as well as Chartwell Road in Oakville, and a half dozen in Scarborough, including Danforth Road and McNicoll.

Why McNaughton came ahead of Danforth Road, though? So that GO/Metrolinx could have a groundbreaking in Del Duca Land?

Who wants to guess the Over/Under for the # of Photo-Ops that the Minister of Photo-Op (Del Duca) will have for these grade separations?

Are they ever going to finish this haha.
the glass is half full guy in me wants to rephrase this as "nearing completion of current improvements....they are already planning ahead for the next phase"....the best way to avoid soul crushing mega projects that disrupt service/use is to embark on lifelong continual/gradual improvements ;)

You know, you got to enhance what you haven't even finished building yet (nevermind not being totally sure what that thing to be finished is in the first place). As if this process of "incremental improvement" hasn't been soul crushing enough, it's almost like a botched lethal injection

So then let's stop improving anything, and live with whatever crap we get then, eh? Screw the future!

The future might never happen ;)

Given the amount of time they are taking, it might just not in the political scheme of things.

Perhaps we should stop coming up and implementing crap plans and then have more crap plans to cover up such crap plans while taking a crapload of time to determine if such crap plans are crap or not while the crappy powers that be try and figure out if the crappiness of such crap plans is something whether the crappy public is going to give a crap about or not?

If nothing is ever going to go ahead until it is "perfect".....nothing is ever going to go ahead!

Normally I'd agree with you *but* what's being put forth is hardly even close to perfection, and even that took bloody forever (be it from planning, jurisdictional arguments, funding, construction).

right...but at some point you gotta get on with these things....even if what you deliver is not "ideal" and even if it needs some upgrade later.......we all (to certain degrees) feel the Union project has dragged on "forever" (I fall on more of the "wow, they are doing all that without shutting it down" side of things)....but if it had never started because we were continually tweeking/changing/upgrading the plans to encompass "everything".....where would we be now?
