There are continuing lane closures on Park Lawn. Utility relocation and pre-construction site exploration (core drilling etc) seems to be continuing.
I would say things are progressing, in the sense that the preliminaries are getting done. But as noted, there are many steps ahead before we get to procurement or shovels in the ground.

It appears something broke or a previously broken switch was identified during the track shift on the LSE corridor this past weekend.
"During construction work that was taking place this past weekend, a switch issue was identified near Danforth GO.
We continue to work hard to repair the issue. Trains will travel at reduced speed through this area, and are estimated to arrive at their destinations 5 to 10 minutes later than usual until the issue is resolved."

^ Not gonna say more about this event.... but... I "identified" my pancakes this morning as I carried the plate to the table.

No, it's not being built yet. That site has been the construction laydown site for the work replacing all of the bridges over the various twists and turns of the Don River further south. The project has another 2 years to go before it's wrapped up.
Only then will the layover site be built.
A piece of work equipment ran through an open switch in the #5 crossover at Danforth on Sunday night, damaging it.
They've been able to leave it locked and lined in the diverging position for now, but that also means that the middle track from Danforth to Scarborough is now unusable until it gets repaired.

There are two construction closures for Stouffville that seem dedicated to the line unlike the last several that were actually for the LSE corridor.

This is basically the last missing link of double track between Kennedy and Unionville right? It doesn't even look like that big of a bridge, it's like it's been stalled for years.

While double track has been laid between Unionville and Kennedy (minus this bridge) I notice that there are a lot of stop/starts of the tracks where they aren’t connected (not even by a switch). There’s still missing track for short segments around Milliken station.
There will have to be some clean up of the track to connect everything before it’s formally double tracked between Unionville and Kennedy.

@reinventingthewheel had me looking at bridges crossing GO tracks in another thread.......in the course of doing so, I realized I was referencing a few documents most here will not have read.
They are public.........just tucked away a bit............
So I thought I'd drop them in here for those who want to turn their mind to building, building beside, or building over GO's tracks.
