Probably higher for weekday ridership, and lower for weekend, so we're probably 10000+ at least minimum on weekday riders.

Roughly 8,016 trips the month of September (estimated 318 per weekday, 210 Saturdays, 136 Sundays and Labour Day). 37 passengers on average. Simple math says 11,766 per weekday, 7,770 per Saturday, 5,032 per Sunday and holiday.
We did lose a full day of service south of Bonnie Doon because of that derailment at the Whitemud.

Definitely could use some signal timing upgrades. Glad to see that identified. Crazy that bikes are stopping at 102st when there’s almost never traffic. Or the wait times at 99st by the citadel…brutal as a pedestrian. No wonder people just cross the tracks. Standing around for 90 seconds with no train or vehicles crossing is stupid ahha

99 St is the worst. I sometime have time to complete a 311 request waiting for the light to turn green.

If anyone wants to express support for more TOD around the west line, there’s a survey open for engagement about 156st and Stony Plain Road.
Some locals are attempting to organize against any sort of densification above townhomes, so comments in supportive of density along this route (which has 4 LRT stops), could be helpful to have.

They’re working hard on 156st west side sidewalks. Probably giving it a final push the next few days before the winter weather finally sets in.

One thing I'm grateful for is that we started building the Valley Line before construction costs started increasing significantly. Calgary, Hamilton and other cities are facing higher costs.

Progress from today at the crossing beside Vi's for Pies. Track is in and lots of hoarding is either up or is being setup. Pretty sure asphalt/road is in and they're just doing median/track concrete work now.
