100 units leased already is a pretty good sign especially with how recent this is too. I’m guessing we’re going to see similar numbers from the other downtown residential developments like Falcon, Peak and probably the Parks too.

It just seems like such a nice vote of confidence in downtown that I’m curious if this changes plans for other developers in the area to either accelerate or even expand their proposals like Qualico did.

Also I love that students have been specifically mentioned in the video too. Students and amenities/services to students will be a major driving force for downtown if harnessed properly.
I also feel it will probably go well, but seems to me the most sensible thing for developers is to see how leasing goes for these projects being completed and recently completed, and then react accordingly.

I realize this may be frustrating for the city planners and would be city planners here who seem so impatient to act as if their pants are on fire, but speculative building which gets ahead of things often ends badly.

How was the tour? Btw, I just checked their website and it is showing 32% leased up = 80 units off the market.....how accurate is that number...who knows....but it is still a solid number not as good as CTV's story claiming 100 units leased, but good nonetheless.
Just checked the website - it is showing 109 units leased / 258 = 42% leased. Leased 29 units since Dec 08th.....looking good!!!!

They saw the quality of Ian's recent photos here and quietly canceled their commitment.
Maybe I should go back to my Sony Ericsson as these iPhone cameras seem to elicit far more criticism.

Here are some renderings of the new 37-storey tower going to EDC on the 7th of Jan. 2025.
Screen Shot 2024-12-29 at 3.01.02 PM.png

This is a view looking southwest from the northeast corner of the new tower. This view proposes all white panels on the eastern face of the building wrapping around the corners with the north face proposed to have black and gray panels. The red outline indicates the existing built portion of the project.

A view looking North at the south face of the new tower -- shows the wraparound white corner set against black panels -- most of the face proposes gray panels on this elevation.

This view shows the white east-facing elevation and the south elevation that overlooks the new pedestrian park -- view from in the park next to the RAM.

Rooftop parklets (for building tenants use) on the roof (37th floor) -- the garden that faces south and east will be open-air; the garden that faces north and west will have a protective roof over the space.

Also on the 37th floor there will be a bar, a "community " table and soft seating as depicted in plan and in the renderings.

General Plan showing the Roundhouse Park and the park to the west of RAM and a pair of general Allees connecting to future phases and the bridge over 97th street. The Roundhouse Park is currently under development.
