Just as I had predicted -- news release this fall for the new 37 storey tower (incidentally the base was already structurally designed for the additional height) with a construction start next year probably between late spring and mid-summer. Qualico is underscoring their own momentum with this project -- if it leases up quickly then there will be additional construction news to follow. This is now Edmonton's premier build -- congratulations Qualico (hopefully other developers will take note and stop building "cookie-cutter" projects thinking that they are doing right by the City and its people).
IF this starts, It will be the tallest building built since the Encore Tower back in 2020,With this change the tower would be 37 floos and 120 metres tall. For reference, EPCOR Tower is 150 metres tall at the tip of the spires (top of mechanical roof is around 140 metres).

What's making you say IF? Qualico has a decent track record, no?IF this starts, It will be the tallest building built since the Encore Tower back in 2020,
This being CONFIRMED as the new height after months of speculation is Interesting,
This could be a Pivotal moment in the Project,
As it could either start work and wow us all or get cancelled and disappoint all of Skyrise Edmonton
