If I'm rich enough to drop $6 million on a condo in Edmonton, it better be approved for use by a Michelin chef and their entire crew. Whether I ever step foot in that kitchen or not.
While I obviously didn't communicate my thoughts well (still better than you did), my post history, and general interactions with people on here have been far from negative. You're allowed to have childish reactions to anything on here, but I do think you crossed the line.I hope it was clear I was being very sarcastic because I was shocked idiots like that guy I’ve now blocked even exist.
Agreed, I'm sure it will be very well-executed, but it really is just a big box with a totally blank wall on one side...I also have to say that for the price point they are looking to achieve, I'd expect a much more inspirational exterior design. Not starchitect money, mind you, but enough to at least not look like a barren mid-century exterior, devoid of any panache.
And yes, I know that smart money doesn't necessarily want to stand out, but in this case I'd pay more if it meant having a home I'd be proud to drive toward.
That blank wall will be stone masonry, most likely some high-end stone. Don't think we've heard of such material on a high-rise or any type of building for quite some time, so I'm curious to see the finished product.
It sounds like it could be quite nice, to paraphrase a more famous quote, they found a city of stucco and left one of stone. I hope others will also up their game here. That blank wall will be stone masonry, most likely some high-end stone.
