While I obviously didn't communicate my thoughts well (still better than you did), my post history, and general interactions with people on here have been far from negative. You're allowed to have childish reactions to anything on here, but I do think you crossed the line.

Next time you have an issue with someone I would suggest that you atleast attempt to be more cordial as other posters, like @Platinum107 were. This isn't Twitter, we're not each other's enemies.
 
I also have to say that for the price point they are looking to achieve, I'd expect a much more inspirational exterior design. Not starchitect money, mind you, but enough to at least not look like a barren mid-century exterior, devoid of any panache.

And yes, I know that smart money doesn't necessarily want to stand out, but in this case I'd pay more if it meant having a home I'd be proud to drive toward.

Agreed, I'm sure it will be very well-executed, but it really is just a big box with a totally blank wall on one side...

It sounds like it could be quite nice, to paraphrase a more famous quote, they found a city of stucco and left one of stone. I hope others will also up their game here.
 
Interesting that the facade comments have been addressing the blank wall. I was aware that the blank wall was to be masonry. How about the rest of the building, though? The main facade is rather dry, to put it politely. It reminds me of Valley Towers on 103rd.

With Autograph signing on to this structure I am sure that the detailing inside and out will be exquisite not to mention a lot of concern focused on site planning and landscape design.
 
Floor to cieling windows with practically zero pillars or walls whatsoever. This building was obiously designed from inside out, to make each (luxury) unit as functional as possible with zero obstructed views of Edmonton's biggest asset.

It may not be the fanciest design for onlookers, but it is a well thought-out design for the actual buyers.

Edit. Kind of what you get when every floor needs to be a sub-penthouse/penthouse. @Offworld what's your opinion of the Lassard House?

Don’t you dare bring Lessard into this lol. I’ll take two in Lessard house over one here any day. 100%. Constant din of groat for twice (or more) the price… no thanks. Lessard is quietly classy while realistically priced (although there hasn’t been a listing for a while). One plus (the only one) about Clifton, is that at 20 units it matters a little less who your neighbours are. Living in a building like Lessard can be hit or miss because there are so few neighbours.

How come this thread doesn’t have a vote thingy at the top?

I've heard the Lassard House name but can't remember the location. Can you provide an address?

In my mind, One River Park won't win any awards but it's at least got a more varied colour pallete and the exteriors have a little bit of variety to break things up. I'm NOT meaning to hold up ORP as a paragon of design, but to my eyes at least it has something to give the exterior some punch.

Who knows... perhaps the Clifton will work out well. However, if that happens, we won't have the renderings to thank. Maybe they're not doing the project a favour. I were the marketing team, I'd order some more pleasing renders.
