If even you @Northern Light highly valued influencer has to give this kind of answer it shows how lost we are. Sad!
Where is our Major in this?

@Northern Light thank you for your response.
We are very much underwhelmed by her performance. I met her a few times, but no answer of substance I got. Her son’s legacy is to built cycling infrastructure. She lets it go so easily? Sad family.
You are right we all need to write the Major. Had not much success with her. Mike Layton called me privately to have a serious discussion.
But now with our current politicians it’s hopeless!
Thank you for the content, though it is funny seeing you go the wrong wayThe York Boulevard entrance to Hamilton is coming along well, grass is in. The Eastbound side is still under construction all summer.
Edit: updated the privacy setting! sorry for all the drama, I fired off a short video from my bike commute after a night shift to show the construction progress, this was not indented to be my Sundance film festival entry guys
York Boulevard integrates directly into both the Cannon St protected track across the city and the Plains Road system entering Burlington.
There is also the possibility I think of extending it northwards along the Little Etobicoke Creek towards Dixie GO and the Applewood trail. There is already a gravel path under the rail bridge to Mattawa Ave. The block at Mattawa and Dundas is being developed (Here's the project thread), and perhaps the path could be extended as part of that development. Past that, the section of the creek north of Dundas to Dixie Rd is already part of Mississauga's master cycling plan.
EDIT: Here is a map of what I mean.

I believe the Nine Creeks trail can't be extended because of the electrical infrastructure west of Stanfield Road. I like the other connections though. I think there's also been a linear park proposed south of the QEW between Ogden Ave and Applewood road, which could link into this (EDIT: though crossing Dixie south of the Queensway would be an issue).Thats actually part of an area I realized a while ago that you could connect 5 major trails together in Missisauga

When is this being voted on?
