So the CBC has material relating to the Jaclyn Dawe disappearance, but it will not be presented in The Fifth Estate? Either it's considered irrelevant, or it's important enough to get its own presentation.

Or it's unsubstantiated and they can't get enough evidence to air it.

A week or so ago I noticed a twitter that had connected a missing girl and an address in the ITO that was being watched. Don't know if connected, but with the crazy shit we've seen, nothing seems impossible.

That was Jaclyn Dawe. Another tweet - "Will tell you what I know/have heard either way. Too important to keep hidden." No idea what that means...too many people taking internet rumours as some kind of truth.

Along that line of thinking....
I was speculating if there might be a connection between the Fords, their mobster friends, and Dellen Millard who was charged in the Tim Bosma murder. Millard lived in Etobicoke, but closer to the Mississauga side. Apparently, he shot porn in his airplane hangar. And I know others here have questioned whether the Fords were mixed up in the sort of thing too. Pure speculation, but these guys might be all tied together in some way.

Well, this thread's jumped the shark.

Hopefully the next week brings some answers. I hope this poor woman wasn't in the wrong place at the wrong time.

You do remember that Haines got bounced from being the CTV Weekend Anchor for making an on-air/open mic comment about a lady in a wheelchair - sorry - it was a composite bad taste gag. Its on Youtube... She's probably not as free wheeling as she might have been due to this...

I also vaguely recall Gord Martineau getting some heat for off-camera stuff, but I dislike him too much to Google his name.

Just a couple of technical points, I hope it's not too much of a derail.

In the cell pic there's no .htaccess* file in the /Locked folder you tweeted the image showing the directory listing of, how was the folder "locked"? It appears to be publicly browsable in the image, just as it is now. The only difference is that some of the file no longer appear.
...

*This file is used to restrict access to folders on a webserver completely, partially, or with a password.

Original site only appears on the Wayback machine on June 18.
/Locked shows up on Nov 6, Nov 8. Surely if it existed before that (given that the domain was crawled on June 18) it would show up there, wouldn't it?

And let's not forget - this isn't how directories look when they're being accessed by a browser. Size / Date Modified also shows up, and the page source for the file isn't just a clean HTML document with a couple of links - it's actually a script that generates the directory structure. So this (and the original camera pic) reek of "attempt to create false sense of authenticity"

Period-prexifed files are hidden, and wouldn't show in FTP view of a browser.

I've created an account on bugs3.com just now and there is a very easy to use interface (cPanel I believe) with which you can make a password protected directory called whatever you like - and it looks exactly like that screenshot.

.htaccess is there too - you just don't see it from the browser.
