Not much of anything is planned for that space. The mechanical is one and two floors below.

The story has been republished with a couple more views, and more interestingly, a video that will give you a bit of a feel for what the ride up in the hoist is like. Cheers!

that third shot is really good. I like how the skyline appears to stretch all the way north to the horizon.

I love those first 3 photos in your last post, Interchange. The distance from Aura helps it blend in with the rest of the skyline in the area, rather than completely dominating it (and making it appear smaller), as is the case from nearby.

Those first three are taken from the 42nd storey of Spire with an iPhone. Number 1 is a digital zoom, so pretty crappy, Number 2 is a pano, pretty cool at full size, and an indication that they've done well with adjusting for changing light on their pano software. It's kind of fun how in Number 3 the towers of Yonge and Eglinton are at the top of Church Street. I also like the reflected light on the Pantages Tower's south wall. Remember when that tower was such a big deal? (Especially when it was going to be a Safdie design?)

Great shots again MB. Aura has lived up to the renderings. A dramatic addition to the skyline.

I like the fact that Aura stands out almost abruptly among the skyline of mid-downtown, unlike in the CBD, where all the towers are squished next to each other.
I hate its colour though because it is the same as most buildings. Is it the colour of Toronto nowadays? Imagine if it is black with some red highlight.
