Gorgeous, but too bad the building wasn't reversed so those crazy huge X pillars were on Richmond not some alley. It would be quite a site to see driving west each day. Still one of the most exciting projects going on right now and sure to be a stunner when it's done.

Uhh there are a set of X pillars off Richmond street between the two heritage buildings

I know, I'm just saying it would be super cool if those X pillars were right on the corner of Richmond and Peter as you approached it. Obviously impossible, just sayin'

I just clued into the fact the new building on top is entirely concrete skeleton. I always assumed it would be a steel framed building on top.

Now the engineers are just showing off.

This building keeps getting cooler and cooler.

I really think it's time we rethought Queen West: surely some taller buildings should be allowed, even if we (the city) caps heights at say 6-8 storeys.
