I grew up in suburbs full of cul-de-sacs in Kingston, much of it 1950s/1960s. Pedestrian short-cuts everywhere. Walking was much faster for some trips. The concept was hardly new. But this has nothing to do wlth Line 6.

I don't believe there's any plans to remove either of the parks south or north of the airport. Though if Billy Bishop were to go, it would be a great location for high density residential! Does anyone really need that we need yet another park there?

I've just caught a taxi at the taxi stand (which I wish wasn't at the far end of the loop). Huge lines for Porter at YYZ? It's annoying if they are flying in/out of the T2 Satellite gates, but the small plane size and 2×2 configuration seem to have pretty short lines getting on and off.

They are a lot easier to read, and from further a way than the LCD screens on the subway platforms. I've seen similar in much bigger cities, on platforms. Keep it simple.
