1 University leased up quick and for good rates. Definitely a net positive for OMERS. I am surprised they would move ahead with Teachers as their only lease commitment. It would be alarming if they had been marketing the building for 2+ years and could only secure the parent company as a...

City councillors wants to ban shark fin soup

Glad to see this happening, and I hope eventually this will be a nation-wide ban. Shark finning has to be one of the most disgusting practices I have ever witnessed. Add to that the fact that the fins are used purely for texture, and this has to be one of the most pointless slaughters in the...

I've always hoped we'd see some taller office buildings being constructed East of Yonge before the CBD is boxed in by condos. That being said I like how this building manages to hide the balconies very well, which is something I wish more condos would do.

The amount of twin towers going up is starting to get ridiculous. Having ICE, 90 Harbour and MLS all right next to each other is going to take some time to get used to

If there was anywhere south of CBD where they're going to build a supertall condo, I'd prefer it be here where it won't block the view of the CBD from the water. That being said I'd much prefer an iconic office tower that was <250m than a 300m bland condo here

I love the staggered pyramid look from that vantage point. I'm not a fan of the Trump building in general, but from that far away it adds a nice dynamic to the skyline.
