    Edmonton | Valley Line LRT/ Valley Line West | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

Walked around Churchill tonight around 9:30pm to check situation. There were 3 cops on bikes patrolling around. Nobody in any of the shelters along the line. Decent amount of people actually waiting to take train for this time of night.

Great analysis. I will hold off until everything is set for the first round although you're likely correct with the match ups. Demko played last night and was good in net giving up one goal to the Flames.

    Edmonton Oilers

Vancouver has gone wire to wire on top of the division and consistent all year long. Very consistent. Lack of playoff experience for many of them, but I'm taking them over Nashville. Are we recording our picks each round - see who Skyrise champ will be?

    Edmonton Oilers

Amazing milestone for McDavid. As has been noted, he's one of only 4 players all -time. Lemieux and Orr, along with McDavid now, hit 100 assists one time. The Great One reached the century mark 11 times.

    Edmonton | Blatchford Development | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

Definitely Sohi and Cartmell sounded the most concerned about the progress and info that was reported and not reported. City admin could not even answer how many units under construction right now - nothing like being prepared for a fairly obvious question. The most positive was Stevenson and...

    Edmonton | Blatchford Development | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

So from audit meeting today, the first housing started construction in 2019, occupied in 2020. Four years later, there are now, at this point in time today, 84 townhome units occupied. By the end of the year, should be another 40ish occupied for around 120-125 units occupied.

Jets getting hot again - five wins in a row including back to back shutouts of Dallas (3-0) and Colorado (7-0). Sean Monahan has new life and Toffoli getting back on track. Finish the season against Canucks.

    Parking, Parking, Parking

What is up with the ridiculous posts by the Strathcona Farmer's Market. I am losing all respect. I can't wait for 104 St outside - a much better market experience. In this post we are supposed to believe somebody would pay the gas cost to drive from Calgary to Edmonton and then back so they can...

    Edmonton Real Estate Market

There wasn't an announcement for up to $65 million for lights or even 65 cents - unless I missed something. I do know Coun. Rutherford had previously made an inquiry about cost of lighting many of Edmonton's multi-use paths due to safety and a cost was provided last week along with possible...

    Miscellaneous

Perhaps it's not feasible, but it would be so nice if those 9 residential projects that received financial incentives from the city in 2021- most with CRUs - could do something similar as noted above and pass on some lower rates to help attract commercial tenants which in turn would support a...

    Downtown

Good article from Steve Sandor "From June of 2023 to January of this year, workers on the downtown enhanced cleaning project responded to 1,631 garbage and litter notifications, and picked up 15,140 needles. No, that is not a typo."

    Homelessness, Addiction and Mental Health

Wondering if there's a good model *another city to point to that would support this type of approach.

    Edmonton Real Estate Market

    Oh sorry.

    Parking, Parking, Parking

Old Strathcona Farmers Market promotes free parking as part of Earth Day. Hmmm.

    Municipal Politics

Narrative council is pushing, or at least a few, is there wouldnt be a tax increase if province didnt shortchange city on at least a half dozen different spending items.
