Yeah, don't know the technicality of this, but I do believe Metrolinx was considering Cherry Street as a potential station back when they revealed the 50-some new potential sites for GO stations, so who knows.

Sorry I meant that this King St design is a good solution for the short term until the DRL is actually built. Let's face it, DRL probably won't be opened for at last another 15-20 years, so we need something in the meantime.

IMO this plan makes too much sense, especially since we keep dragging our feet with the DRL. Accomodates delivery trucks and drop offs on King, cheap and fast to implement. Bu then again, we live in Toronto.

Not sure if this was ever covered, but what sort of train will Smart Track use? Double decker trains like the GO, or trains similar to what is used for the UPX?
