    VIA Rail

The "Correspondance" (transfer) section that appears before each station does say "Gare de train" or something similar. We don't see it well because of the light reflection.

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

The Transit app shows the real headways, which are better than what the STM shows on these tables. They have improved the headways significantly in the past few years (well, since Projet Montréal is in power at city hall). On weekdays, it's 5 minutes or better until 10:30 pm. Even at midnight...

Not exactly : the new Samuel-de-Champlain bridge was planned with two lanes for transit in the centre of the bridge, but when they started building it, it wasn't decided yet if it was going to be bus lanes or light metro. The lanes were built to accomodate both modes.

    Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 (nCoV-2019)

You consider that a $400 to $6000 fine per individual for each incident is low? I'd say (and hope) it's a good deterrent for most conspirationists.

    Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 (nCoV-2019)

Well they'd better follow the rules from now on. Starting this weekend, they can get a substantial fine if they don't wear their mask correctly, in all interior public spaces. Masks were already mandatory (and I'd say 99% of people complied with the rule based on my observations), but until now...

    Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 (nCoV-2019)

Are you sure about that? Before the masks became mandatory, a survey in Quebec said that 76% were in favour of the mask, with 10% somewhat opposed and 14% strongly opposed. How does that compare to the other provinces? Also, according to this other study, the residents of Quebec are in 2nd...

    Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 (nCoV-2019)

From what we have been told in Quebec, the timing of our winter/spring break, which happens before pretty much everyone else's (last week of Feb or First week of March, depending on the region) was a much bigger factor. We had hundreds of thousands of vacationers coming back from Florida...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Montreal's summer plans: An extra 327 km of bike paths, pedestrian lanes Montreal Gazette Montreal will add 327 kilometres of bicycle paths and pedestrian lanes, while some thoroughfares will be closed to motorized traffic this summer. It is part of an effort to open up the city — and its...

The REM will be using a 4-car configuration at rush hours, 2-car configuration outside of rush-hour. Platforms are 80m longs.

The difference is that the way things are going, the Legault CAQ government will most probably be re-elected at the next elections.

Mtlurb has, as of now, 956 pages of posts about the REM just in its main post, plus many other subtopics for each specific station and sub-segment of the project.

    Toronto Toronto | Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

The Azur (MPM-10) trains are not wide, but train each can carry 1100 passengers. That's similar or just slightly less than the TTC's trains I believe.

    How so? Just curious.

I noticed that too. Maybe having two separate platforms is more convenient if they continue the line to Dorval, past the airport?

Sadly, you did not. The old Voyageur bus terminal is supposed to be demolished and replaced by some project in the future (yet to be announced), and then there will be a convenient interior connection to the métro.

    Montréal Transit Developments

By the time the REM is in service, all fares in the Montreal metro area are supposed to be fully integrated by the ARTM (which is the organization responsible for establishing fares in the Montreal region). This fare integration will include the REM, STM, RTL, STL, and exo. Fares will...
