Why not use the parking lot right beside?

Its a little more complicated with an LRT line. More safety stuff for photographers. There are also tons of photos on their instagram, twitter, Facebook and on their blog.

Not much more land to develop if the CNE continues. I think we need to change the parking lots into something more desirable if it is going to continue for many years to come. I rarely see people parking there is so some paving stones and plantings would be great

Love this thread already. It’s crazy how just a few tables and chairs can bring life to a park. You really need a reason to go to an urban park. If you don’t have kids or pets there isn’t really other reasons then to do work or have a coffee

The only trains id argue could always pass are lakeshore west. With exhibition and the OL stopping close you could make a case for them to bypass.

Is the Eglinton east let going to just stop on street for the go station? Wonder if it could be integrated into the plan for this land at all. Maybe running along the backside

I think this would be perfect for the sidewalk labs land or at east harbour. I agree with Alex we need a mix of uses. There is no fun in walking 10 minutes across pavement to get the Ontario place.

Is this supposed to prove something? I’ve lived in burlington for 90% of my life. The other 10% in Toronto. It takes me 10 minutes to drive to the go station 15 if there is traffic. There is no reason taking a bus to the station should take 50 minutes. From my house I have to walk 10 mins...

But no other transit lol
