The guy who came to install my blinds said I was crazy if I wanted to hang them from the ceiling. They should be hung from the top metal trim that is hugging the ceiling or the actual window frame. Much stronger this way. A couple of tiny metal screws won't compromise the frame.

Blu is starting to grow in me a bit more. I still wish it was a bit more daring colour-wise to break up all of the beige in the 'hood. To me it looks best looking up at it from the street on a partly cloudy day. Otherwise it tends to just stand there and blend in all grey-like. Also...

From last week. Those top 5 or 6 floors with south views are going to have some of the best views in all of downtown. Even better than the views from the top of Manulife since they'll be able to enjoy looking at Casa just off to their left. :D

The comparison with "Flamingo" was EXACTLY my first thought when I saw this installation. Absolutely love it. And as for X's lobby. Wow! Simply stunning! I wish Casa's lobby were up to this calibre (Although it could come very close with better furnishings and appropriate lighting design).
